Under the leadership of the Research Director, Professor Nandini Rajagopalan, the Greif Center maintains an extensive network of affiliated Research Faculty and Doctoral Students from across the Marshall School and USC to promote interdisciplinary research in entrepreneurship. The Center also regularly hosts Visiting Researchers.

Professor and Henry W. Simonsen Chair in Strategic Entrepreneurship, earned her PhD in business administration at the University of Pittsburgh. She also holds an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad. Her research in strategic management focuses on CEO succession and compensation systems, strategic change, corporate governance and global strategic alliances. Her publications on these topics have appeared in several scholarly journals including the Academy of Management Review, the Academy of Management Journal, the Strategic Management Journal, The Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of Management Studies, the Journal of Management, the British Journal of Management and Advances in Strategic Management.

She has made several presentations at professional conferences of the Strategic Management Society and the Academy of Management, and has received a number of awards, including the Best Reviewer Awards (Academy of Management Journal; Business Policy & Strategy Division), the Ascendant Scholar Award (Western Academy of Management) and the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business Doctoral Fellowship. She is an Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Journal and a member of the editorial boards of the Strategic Management Journal, Business Horizons, and the Journal of World Business . She is a Distinguished Faculty Fellow at USC’s Center for Excellence in Teaching and has won several awards for her teaching, service and scholarly contributions to the Marshall School.
