Robert J. Aholt, Jr. is the Vice Chairman and a Directors of the Pasadena Angels, a non-profit early stage investment group in Southern California. Mr. Aholt was a founding partner at Systems Development, Inc.(SDI), a closely held corporation focusing on management and IT consulting. While at SDI, Mr. Aholt was Director/CIO at Sony Pictures Entertainment. Other clients included j2 Global Communications, Toyota Motor Sales, Universal Studios and Technicolor. Mr. Aholt then became the Chief Operating Officer of Phase III Medical, Inc, a publicly traded company (now NeoStem). As the largest investor in Phase III Medical, Mr. Aholt helped lead an organization focused on revenue and royalty sharing in the life sciences and biotechnology areas.

Bob Holmen is a Managing Director and co-founder of Miramar Venture Partners. Formed in 2001, Miramar invests in early- and mid-stage technology companies, with an emphasis on Southern California opportunities. Currently Miramar focuses on core technology sectors of Cloud Computing, Storage, Digital Media and Medical IT. Bob has spent his career building technology companies in the healthcare and information technology markets. He has served in diverse roles, from software engineer at Hughes Aircraft to General Counsel and other senior executive roles at technology and life sciences companies to venture investor. Bob received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1985 and his J.D. from UC Berkeley in 1989.

Torin Pavia
Torin W. Pavia is the founder and CEO of Arbitech, LLC, a computer commodities distribution firm whose business plan was developed in 2000 while Torin was in the MBA entrepreneurial program at USC Business School. The company earned recognition in 2004 as the #1 “Fastest Growing Private Company in America” in Entrepreneur Magazine and Dunn & Bradstreet’s annual rankings. By 2008, Arbitech would reach $1 billion in total sales and, attesting to the winning combination of corporate success and the company’s emphasis on corporate culture, Arbitech’s team members were honored with the #1 “Best Place to Work in Orange County” by OC Business Magazine.
Prior to Arbitech, Mr. Pavia was a partner at Odyssey Electronics and at age 24, co-founded The Health Emporium in Corona Del Mar, a natural foods market, restaurant and distributor.
Mr. Pavia has also earned recognition as “Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year” from the USC Marshall School of Business and has been recognized as one of the “40 Most Influential Orange County Executives Under the Age of 40″ by OC Business Magazine. Mr. Pavia is a frequent lecturer at various schools, conferences and seminars. In his free time, Mr. Pavia most enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.

Lori Williams has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, marketing, finance and operations. She has functioned as a business owner, corporate officer and a consultant in a variety of industries. Lori is the owner of a LW and Associates, a business consulting firm specializing in strategy and finance. Functioning as the Chief Strategist, Lori provides businesses with growth strategies designed to increase revenues, profitability and build long-term sustainable growth.
In 2007 Lori founded Business Simply Put, a division and registered trade mark of LW and Associates, to provide smaller companies with affordable high-level information and advice. Business Simply Put offers professionals access to business intelligence on key topics specific to small and medium-sized companies.
Lori holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, BS Business and Management, an AA in Medical Science and a Practitioner’s license in NeuroLinguistic Programming. She has an abundance of energy and believes anything is possible if you work hard and are committed to your dream.
